Ingredients:
1 tbsp canola oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cider vinegar
2 tsp dried basil
3/4 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c fresh onion, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup thinly sliced almonds
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients, set aside.
2. In a large skillet, saute green beans, mushrooms and onions in butter until almost tender.
3. Add lemon juice mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
4. Sprinkle almonds on top just before serving.
